Our story
Lava was born out of frustration. As AI developers ourselves, we spent countless hours building and maintaining billing systems instead of focusing on our core product. Every AI company was solving the same problems over and over again. We realized there had to be a better way. So we built Lava - a payments infrastructure designed specifically for the unique needs of AI companies. Usage-based billing, prepaid credits, and agent-to-agent transactions, all handled seamlessly. Today, Lava powers AI billing for a growing number of companies — from early-stage builders to teams scaling their usage models.
